Solution.

$$\begin{align*} \frac{(64 y^{3}-8)}{(4 y-2)}&= \frac{(4y - 2)(16y^{2} + 8y + 4)}{4y - 2}\\ & = 16y^{2} + 8y + 4 .\end{align*}$$

$\left(125 y^{3}-8\right) \div(5 y-2)$

Solution.

$$\begin{align*} \frac{(125 y^{3}-8)}{(5 y-2)} &= \frac{(5y - 2)\left(25y^{2} + 10y + 4\right)}{5y - 2} \\ & = 25y^{2} + 10y + 4. \end{align*}$$
